Roofing

Replacement, repair, and honest inspections — including telling you when the roof does not need replacing.

A replacement is the right call when shingles are curling or losing granules across the whole roof, when there are already two layers up there, or when repairs have stopped holding. Plenty of roofs we look at need none of that, and we will tell you so.

When we do replace a roof, we tear off to the deck rather than laying over. Layering is faster and cheaper on the day, but it hides rotten sheathing, voids most manufacturer warranties, and makes the next replacement more expensive. Any decking we find soft gets replaced before the new system goes on.

For leaks, the stain on your ceiling is usually nowhere near the actual hole — water runs along rafters and decking before it drops. We trace it back to the entry point before quoting anything, because a patch in the wrong place is just a delay.

Most homes take one to three days. We protect landscaping before we start, run a magnet over the yard and driveway at the end of each day, and haul everything out when we finish.
