The short version
We collect what you type into the estimate form, and we use it to contact you about your project. We do not sell it, we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers, and this site runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
What we collect
When you submit the estimate form we collect your name, phone number, email address, project address, project type, and whatever you write in the message field. If you subscribe to the blog newsletter, we collect your email address only.
Alongside a submission we also record the page that referred you, any campaign tags in the link you arrived through, and your browser's user-agent string. That is how we learn which of our own advertising is worth continuing. We do not build a profile of you from it, and it is stored on the submission rather than tracked across visits.
Simply reading this site sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device.
How we use it
To reply to you, quote your project, and carry out work you hire us for. We may contact you by phone, text, or email about the enquiry you submitted. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for an estimate — the newsletter is a separate, explicit signup, and every issue carries an unsubscribe link.
Financing links
The financing section links out to Acorn Finance, a separate lending marketplace. Following that link takes you to their website, where their privacy policy applies and not this one. Anything you enter there — including a pre-qualification application — goes to Acorn and their lending partners, not to us. We are told when a referral came from this site so the referral is credited correctly; we do not receive your application, your credit information, or the outcome.
